Clinic  Please refer to the information on the home page about the clinic designed for players, refs, and parents.  This is a great opportunity to learn new things related to polo and the game itself.  There will be fliers available at the pool throughout this month.

Practice Change for Polo  Beginning Monday, May 12th, the practices for water polo will begin at 4:30 and go to 6:00 - the practices will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to the end of the month.

Calendar  The new calendar feature is up and includes the dates for tournaments to the end of July and Junior Olympics.  This calendar also includes the dates for the swim meets for our new MSA program.

Parental Assistance for Cal State Games We have decided to take our teams to the 20th annual California State Games in San Diego July 11th to the 13th.  The age groups we intend to take will be 14 and under, 16 and under and 18 and under both boys and girls.  We require that we have a parent take charge of a particular age group and make the arrangements for the team for this great opportunity.  Please if you are interested contact the coaches on the pool deck and we would be more than happy to get you involved. 

Parental Assistance for Junior Olympics  As described above we need help for organizing our teams for Junior Olympics to be held in Southern California.  We don't yet know what teams will qualify, but we need to make plans in the event that we do.  Parents who are interested in helping in this need to contact the coaches at the pool deck.

Modesto Stanislaus Aquatics Recreation Swim Team  We have started our recreation competitive swim program.  We are involved in the league with Turlock, Ceres, Oakdale, etc.   At this time we are in need of new members.  As this is a new program, the word has been difficult to get out to the general public.  We will be practicing all summer long from 5:15 to 6:30 at Johansen, essentially the same time as our beginning polo practice is going on.  Perhaps the ability to do both things at the same time may entice more families to participate.

Zone Representatives  Congratulations to the MSWP members who will represent our zone in the national competitions to be held at the end of the  month.  Zac Young and Taylor Sellers will be traveling to Annapolis, Maryland while Remy Price and Taylor Hanson will be going to Southern California to represent our zone.
