September 2007
Beginning on September 10th our free clinic for junior high school kids, and younger will begin at Johansen H.S. The clinic will be held Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's from 5:30 to 6:45. The clinic will be held from the 10th until the last week in October. Depending upon the number we will try and schedule a couple of Sunday competitions with Lodi and Stockton. We are certainly hoping for a good turnout.
High school programs are off and running and many of our club kids are participating throughout the area on many different teams. We wish them all the success that the next two months will bring, both individually and team wise, good luck to all
NEW ZEALAND. Many have been emailing me regarding their interested in the trip for next summer. We will have to begin formally taking a head check in the very near future. The divisions for competition are 20 and under, 18 and under and 14 and under boys and girls. The age is based upon 2008. If you are interested please email me so that I can continue to start a list of those potential travelers. As this is such a very busy time with all the coaches and families involved in high school water polo, if there is a parent who would like to sort of get the ball rollling, it would be greatly appreciated on my part. If you are interested, please let me know.
We did receive a thank you letter from the Dickerson family. I would like to share their note with you....
Ryan would have loved the water polo ball flower arrangement, the signed ball and the fact that so many of you were there to bid him farewell. He loved water polo and he loved all of you. There were clearly more talented players on the team but none with more team spirit than Ryan. Your outpouring of love, support, have been comforting to our family during this horrible, horrible time. Thank you for the words of remembrance you wrote in the book and for everything you all have done. Ryan was a very special person and we love him so much. The world won't quite be the same without him, bit it's a little better because he was here. Thanks for loving him too. The Dickerson Family
