Congratulations to all the teams in the MMC, SJAA, and CCC that made it to the Section playoffs.  Additional congratulations to all the people who were honored by being selected to their respective all league and all section teams.  Those who participated in Modesto/Stanislaus Water Polo were well represented in all areas.

We will not be conducting winter water polo through MSWP.  Winter polo will be instructed by Modesto Junior College.  There is a $100 cost.  The girls will practice beginning Nov. 27th and held Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The boys will be start November 26th and held Mondays and Wednesdays.  Practices at MJC will be from 6:30 to 8:00

MSWP will start our water polo program that lasts from mid-February until the end of summer.

The New Zealand trip is off.  Although there was much interest in going this coming summer, the problem was the cost.   We have decided that what works best for us this year will be tournaments in either Washington or Oregon as well as attending J.O.'s if we qualify. 

NOW is the time to register for USWP for the 2008 year.  Applications can be done on line at  www.usawaterpolo.org    at this time there is a "slight" reduction to do this prior to January.  Please do so at this time, if you are able to.  The club number for registration is  #176

Zone camps for the upcoming year will be held in early March on into April.  The age groups for the camps will be Junior 91-92 and Youth 93 and younger.  Congratulations to DREW CLUTE who was named to be in charge of the central area camps for the boys.  More on this as we get towards March.

We are planning a very productive year for 2008 and look for any input you might have to improve water polo in the area.  Special thanks to all the coaches who ran our free program for all pre high school kids in the area !    Hopefully this will encourage many new players for the upcoming year.
