I have just returned from Salt Lake City and the water polo convention.  Not too many items to report at this time.

We will be holding our annual board meeting in accordance with our rules of incorporation.  All MSWP members can attend this meeting.  The meeting will be held Monday, January 22, at 5 PM at my house.  The directions to my house can be found on the map link section of our webpage.

Regarding Hawaii, the names are slowly starting to come in.  I would appreciate it if you are interested in going that you please at least email me that information so that we can see if we do have enough numbers to proceed.  The further we get into the process, the difficulty of dropping our increases.

The schedule for the summer is currently posted in the summer section.  We will not be having a winter/spring league this year - but will be extending our summer program into April and May for the same base price of $200.  This is a better deal for all of our athletes and families.

Junior Olympics this year will be in Northern California, it looks like it will be held in the San Jose area.

New this year, at JO qualifying, ALL participants will be required to bring to the event their USWP card for verification (just like soccer does it).  The hard copy that is given to you when you register is acceptable.

All athletes need to get registered for this year.  Please do so at this time.  You can get the registration for USWP on the webpage.  

I will be posting on each of the following months events that are happening.  This should be up by the end of the week.  If you want to know what is scheduled - namely area and zone camps, you can look on the month and it should give you the information.

Again, at the meeting on Monday, the 22nd, we will be doing all of our initial planning for the upcoming season.  I will post any and all decisions in the February newsletter.
