December 2004=

sThe high school season has ended, and now we are starting our new winter water polo program.  The first two night saw over 40 kids participating, with an even break between boys and girls.  The tournaments for the winter program are set as the following dates:

January 8-9     January 23-23     February 5-6     The breakdown on the ages will be Open and 16-U on Saturdays and 14-U and 18-U on Sunday.

With regards to the summer schedule, we will be finalizing the schedule in early January, but I can tell you that Junior Olympics will be the first week in August.  This is different that what we have had in the past.  This will essentially set up one of two options:    1) we do Junior Olympics and conclude there   2) we do Junior Olympics, and then travel to the Hawaiian tournament from the 8th to the 14th.  There are two tournaments in Hawaii that week, one is on Oahu, the other on the Big Island.  I would like us to do the Big Island one.  That would mean we would be traveling back to the mainland on the 14th.  I know it is early but we need to start considering this trip right away.

Area camps for the boys will be held in January, more information as I receive it

Area camps for the girls will be held in early March, more information as I receive it

With regards to spring water polo, we will begin in February, and conclude at the end of April (like last year).  The difference this year will be that we will have pre high school, high school, and then our new MOM's program going on.  The cost for each group will be the same as last year $100.  Days for this will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 until 7 PM.   Once again more information as we finalize our plans.

Have a happy holiday, and if you need any additional information, etc., please contact me.
