Basic Information

Practices: Prior to the end of school practices will be held at Johansen H.S. - both boys and girls will practice at the same time. Practices will be from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM each day. Once Section swimming is over (May 14) practices will be from 4:30 TO 6:00

This schedule will be in place for the following dates - February 19,20 and every Tuesday and Wednesday thereafter except for March 25,26. Practices will go to 3 days a week, Mon., Tues., and Wed., starting May 12th through June 4th. Starting Monday June 9th we will go to our summer hours

Beginning June 9th we will begin our summer schedule. Boy's high school age (futures sophomores and above) will practice from 8 to 10 AM, Monday through Thursday at Johansen HS. Girls high school age and above will practice at Johansen from 6:30 to 8:15 PM, Monday through Thursday. Beginning players and pre high school players (incoming freshmen), both male and female, will practice at Johansen from 5:15 to 6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Cost: The cost for summer water polo will be $250. This will cover the cost of tournament entries, coaching, and coaches' reimbursement. All athletes are responsible for registering with U.S. Water Polo (see link).

Major Events:
Junior Olympics - In order to participate in Junior Olympics this summer our teams must qualify. The girls 14-u and 16-u and 18-u qualifying will take place at Tokay for the boys Sat.,Sun. June 21,22. The girls qualifying will take place at Johansen, Sat. and Sun. June 28,29..

Summer Events:
We will also compete each weekend in area tournaments. There is a tentative schedule that will be posted on our web site by the end of January. There will be tournaments each weekend beginning June 7,8 and each weekend thereafter.

Registration forms for water polo will be available at the high school league swim meet, or can be downloaded from our web site. Additionally, registration forms will be available from your respective high school aquatic coaches. No one will be allowed to practice until they have submitted their registration forms with dues.
